This scholarship is focused on the character qualities inherent in healthy and thriving corporations, businesses, and/or leadership positions in the community. We are a company that puts people over profits and would love to assist young people in pursuit of that philosophy. We are not limiting it to the pursuit of a business degree but preference will be given to such an applicant.
Eligibility:
Any graduating senior planning to attend an accredited trade, technical or vocational school, public two- or four-year college or university or private university. Recipients must have a GPA of 2.5 or above and are required to submit two letters of recommendation from a teacher, coach, employer, community member, or clergy. The top three candidates will be interviewed. Preference will be given to those with an interest in studying business.

As a company that provides urban planning and design services, at Build LLC we have an opportunity to shape our physical environment and influence communities throughout the Northwest. We strive to make places that are accessible for all and to do so in a socially and racially just manner. The focus of this scholarship is to support entrepreneurial students who focus on impactful change in their communities. We are in the midst of the most powerful social movement our country has seen in many years; this scholarship recognizes the impactful work so many are engaged in to support racial equity.
Eligibility:
Any graduating senior planning to attend a four-year college or university who has maintained a 3.25 GPA, and who demonstrates community involvement. Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor’s degree with intentions of starting a business or participating in a start-up. Applicants are required to submit two recommendations. Priority will be given to minority students, with additional preference to majors that are intentionally entrepreneurial or socially conscious.

Faceout Studio has been in the design/arts/entertainment industry for over 25 years. The Faceout Studio Creative Impact Award is for students who are planning to pursue a career in the creative arts. This includes graphic design, photography, illustration, animation, architecture, film, product design, environmental design, etc.

Established in 1988, Ponderosa Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electrical, and Drain Services, a Roth brand company, proudly serves the local community for their home service needs. Located in Sisters, Oregon Ponderosa has been offering a scholarship for a qualified Sisters High School senior since 2014. The Ponderosa Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electrical, and Drain Services Scholarship is available to a SHS senior who is interested in pursuing the trades in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, or drain services. Ponderosa is offering this scholarship because they value the trades and recognize the need for qualified people to join companies such as theirs.
Eligibility:
Any graduating senior who will be pursuing training in the trades of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or drain services. Applicants must have maintained a minimum 2.0 GPA and are required to submit one recommendation.

We have all been touched on a personal level by mental illness. Whether directly experienced or witnessed, the challenges of our pervasive mental health crisis can be overwhelming and devastating. We can do better. She Soars Psychiatry, LLC believes that a community’s mental health ought to be a collective effort shared by healthcare, academic institutions, workplaces, places of worship, athletics, community organizations, and among families. Stamping out stigma demands that we make more of an effort to normalize mental health challenges. Providing pathways to more accessible and affordable mental health services are critical in addition to allowing for safe spaces to share difficult experiences. The purpose of these scholarships is to recognize graduating high school seniors who share the vision of reducing stigma and improving mental health outcomes for future generations.
Eligibility:
Any graduating senior planning to attend an accredited trade, technical/vocational school, two- or four-year college or university who is planning to study a program in health and wellness, social work, or education. Preference may be given to applicants who have engaged in community service and participated in extra-curricular activities. Applicants are required to submit one recommendation and two additional essay responses.

The most important aspect of this scholarship is the applicant’s demonstrated passion and involvement in their community and school through academics, athletics, leadership, employment, and/or extracurricular activities.

Any graduating senior planning to attend an accredited trade, technical/vocational school, two- or four-year college or university who has maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA and demonstrates financial need. Preference may be given to applicants pursuing health field-related studies. Applicants are required to submit two recommendations, one from an employer and one from a teacher/counselor, highlighting the student’s interest(s) and enthusiasm. Finalists may be interviewed during the application review process.

The construction industry is losing its workforce to retirement every day. An electrician, plumber, architect, cabinetmaker, or tile layer are just a few examples of the variety of well-paying jobs available. The purpose of this scholarship is to provide funds for a student seeking a career in the building trades, building industry, or building sciences.
Eligibility:
Any graduating senior planning to attend an accredited trade, technical/vocational school, two- or four-year college or university who has maintained a minimum 2.5 GPA and wants to study Building Trades or Building Sciences. Applicants are required to submit two recommendations from non-family members, (e.g., teacher, coach, employer or community member).
